How we work together
The journey towards your big day with me as your celebrant will be a unique and personal journey offering you the opportunity to reflect on what bought you to this very moment. I will expertly craft your ceremony with friendship and joy, helping you to put your ceremony right at the very heart of your celebration!
Step 1
Getting to know each other
Book in a no obligation chat with me in person over coffee, on zoom, by phone or whatsapp. It’s important we get to know each other and you can ask any questions you may have about celebrant led ceremonies. This is a great way to see if we click and will work well together. If you would like me to be involved in your big day jump to step 2.
Step 2
Brainstorm & Planning
After paying deposit and signing contracts to secure me for your big day, we can brainstorm and get creative together with ideas! We will start to build your ceremony lookbook in this meeting. We will discuss all your plans and ideas from colours to themes, allowing me to get to know you and your wedding party even further and help give you ideas you may not have considered.
Step 3
Questionnaires
Between 6 months and 4 months before the wedding, I will send you over a questionnaire to be completed both separately and together. This gives me an opportunity to find out about you as individuals as well as a couple and will inspire your ceremony format and script.
Step 4
Crafting your ceremony
I will then craft your script and ceremony from start to finish and send through for your initial feedback (or read to you, although most couples prefer an element of surprise on the day.) Hopefully you’ll be thrilled by it first time, but if there are things you want to add, change or re-work, that’s absolutely fine - we will tweak until is it 100% perfect!
Step 5
Tying up loose ends
1 to 2 weeks before the wedding we will have a call to run through the final script and logistics for the day and tie up any loose ends. The aim is that the call is to answer any last minute questions, discuss any changes with other areas of your day and most importantly to put your mind at rest! I want you completely relaxed for your big day!
Step 6
Rehersals
Within an hours drive the week before your day, I am available to attend any rehearsals or walk throughs. I will ensure that the venue are aware of any special requirements for the ceremony and will check logistics for any snagging points. If you are further afield but would like this to happen that isn't a problem but would be a chargeable extra.
Step 7
Your big day
IT’S YOUR BIG DAY!!! I’ll arrive nice and early before the ceremony to ensure everything is set up and ready to go. All you need to do is relax, breath and enjoy every moment!
Your day will be full of JOY and MAGIC elevated to the max by your unique celebrant led ceremony!
Step 8
Post celebration
You will receive a commemorative copy of your script as a momento of your perfect day.
I love staying in touch and it's extra special to be invited back for other family, naming or vow renewal celebrations, further down the line!
